Ice Transformations: Winter in Maine

Last weekend I went out for a walk on the frozen lake by our house.  Thinking about transformation lately, I was struck by the forceful, brutal, yet beautiful transformative power of the elements: water, cold, ice, time, upheaval, and ultimately change.  I went back and got my camera.

I have mostly been spending my time lately with the Pinhole cameras, but the 35mm camera has come out at times.  Here is just a couple of sculpture images that I like using natural light.  I just got some lights from B&H Photo, so I will do more with film, and will also try some other film formats.  But for now...
